  1.   These are the settings I am using to run all my comm programs under os2
  2. (including wildcat!3.55) I have had very good results with them
  3.    I am running a 486/33 with 20megs ram I cannot promise this will work
  4. with less than 16meggs ram and anything smaller than a 486sx
  5.

  7.      This help file assumes a working knowledge of OS2.20 on your part
  8. I also would STRONGLY suggest you have OS2 installed using boot mannager
  9. if you also have MSDOS installed on your machine.

  12.     1> make a copy of the dos window or dos full screen icons
  13.     2> open the settings window for the dos icon you will be using
  14.        to run your comm prog or bbs. from
  15.     3> go to program area insert path and exe for program in the path 
  16.         area
  17.     4> open the session page then open dos settings
  18.     5> I am only listing the settings I have tinkered with to get 
  19.        this to work.

  37.    I have not altered anything else in OS2 so if you have I can't 
  38. promise this will work.

  40. these can be requested from me on my bbs at 402-397-5088
  41. they can be found on internet at software.watson.ibm.com via
  42. an anonymous ftp
  43. or you can call the IBM support bbs at 507-388-1154
  44. the service disks are 20 megs total but only replace the bad files in
  45. os2.20 it will increase the total size of os2.20 by about five megs
  46.  
  47.   If you don't get and install the correction disks I can't help you
